Carcass – Surgical Steel Teaser and Album cover revealed.

That’s right. At last Carcass has given us something more than a little picture or words, this time, they gave us Surgical Steel‘s album cover and an official teaser featuring the band playing a little excerpt of a new song ,which, by the way, sounds demolishingly demolisher.

Surgical Steel will be the first album to be released by Carcass since 1996’s Swansong. It will also be the first album with their new drummer, Dan Wilding.

Since reuniting again in 2007 as a band they’ve recorded several songs (and I DO mean several) during the Surgical Steel sessions such as:

  • The Master Butcher’s Apron
  • The Granulating Dark Satanic Mills
  • A Congealed Clot of Blood
  • A Wraith in the Apparatus
  • 316L Grade Surgical Steel
  • Cadaver Pouch Conveyor System
  • Captive Bolt Pistol
  • Intensive Battery Brooding
  • None Compliance to ASTM F899-12 Standard
  • Mount of Execution
  • 1985/Thrasher’s Abattoir
  • Unfit for Human Consumption
  • Zochrot
  • Livestock Marketplace

No official set-list has been revealed so far, though.

The production of the album was handled by Colin Richardson (Cannibal corpse, Overkill, Machine Head) and the mixing by Andy Sneap (Exodus, Amon Amarth, Obituary)

But onto the good stuff, right?.
Here’s the Teaser:

And the cover artwork:

Bold, huh?. Yah.
